Oh s**t! Seems like we're both in the same boat. I forgot to take pictures before the removal. I'm waiting on my block to come back from the machine shop. But I plan on going and taking pictures in the junkyard. I'm going to do as much research before I put it back together That way I won't screw up.

It's kinda hard having the feeling of putting something together and finding out you have extra screws and bolts after putting it back together huh? Good luck with that.

That just means you didn't do something correctly. I plan on having a few extra screws b/c I took some spares from the junkyard and somethings I took off I don't plan on using when reassembled.

VE autos don't have the power control valve.. not sure what the EGR control "BPT valve" is

I already have the manifold setup (90%) and it wouldn't make sense to do it again. I just have to pull it all out and take pics. It's a x-over from the rear. Not really designed for high boost though.

Yeah, you're right... I did do something incorrectly, that's why I had to take it apart and put it all together again retracing my steps and sometimes peeking in the manual also. I believe its good to make mistakes you can learn from.

a VG one should work as long as you don't mind it free-floating in midair (or you can ziptie it to something)

trying to glue it back on will likely just clog it up

ibnoairflow

did you apply the glue before putting it on, or did you just hold it in place and apply the glue like caulk?

havent been on here for a little bit. If you still need any pictures, I have a VE auto. Hope you got it all figured out. If not let me know. Nice glue job . Im sure you could find one that would be jsut fine at a junkyard, if that glue ever fails.
