89 maxima air intake filter and adapter

89 maxima air intake filter and adapter
i just brought a ractive air filter and billet adapter to replace my factory air filter box. I want to know how would I install it. Where exactly does the adater go? What direction should the filter be facing?

Unbolt MAF from stock air box, remove air box. Bolt adapter to MAF, connect filter to adaptor. Should aim towards front driver's wheel.
