Digital dash went dead on my 92...help!
The whole cluster just went dead...but sometimes it just turns on by itself...but mostly it's off. No lights or anything...the dimmer is set to full brightness as well, even when I adjust it, nothing happens. A good whack doesn't turn it on either. I haven't checked the connections to see if they came loose or anything but is this a common problem? I can't tell how much gas I have!
I don't even know how to remove the dash, can some give me some brief instructions or guide me to a website that has them?
Thanks!

It's probably dead. I've known several people attempt to change over to the regular guages becuase the digital are crap. One guy simply let it go and used the heads up display and forgot about the rest. To remove the dash, take off trim around stereo (two screws above stereo/ two below ashtray and lighter), remove trim piece that has the buttons (like for rear defrost, cruise) all screws located beneath that panel. The screws for the trim around guages are now visible, about 4 in upper part of panel and a few more around the edges where the other panels were removed. Now you have access to the guages.
