the clears that I had originally started to peel out so I took them off... I am going to rip open the housing (carefully) and paint the innards black so that they match the bimmer lights better...
I saw that on that light blue max from england... it looks 1000x better then the regular clears...

I was thinking about doing this. One of my clears are already splitting. What kind of paint do you use? And do you paint the silver or the lens?

I am actually not sure what paint to use... It would need to be a high temp paint as the lights in there get darn hot!

Are you talking about the gray trim along the top of the light about the lens or the inside of the light? I thought the inside of the corner light silver? Is there a way to make the silver reflector inside look like its "smoked"? Kinda like the 2k1 AE headlights. I've seen a 4th gen at maxus that had the inside corners of the headlight painted black. It looked really good.

thats not how its done
UK maxes have smoked corners. I thinks your talking about Stu's right?
they are not painted. a better way would be to get some tint ant your auto store and just tint the clears. thats what im gonna do when I fix my SE Ive done it to a freinds car. It make the bmw lights blend in way better. use like 50% to 35% tint
