Why is this bolt here??

If this is a dumb question, I'm sorry, but what the hell is this for?



I was replacing my control arm and found this little wonder here.

I checked my other Max's and they both have them..

Any idea's?

that's right. It stops the spindle from turning too far.

iirc it's supposed to have a vinyl/plastic cap on it... so it won't clunk when you hit it.
