Don't let those numbers fool you.

I would take the Integra Type R hands down. Probably the best handler there and rare.

If you need the extra room, Maxima I guess but that R will handle circles around even a modded maxima.

Because of Nissan didn't get the spec-V to the times in the 1/4 they said it is the slowest, but it will run circles around the others in the turns. With the right driver of course.

The Maxima is just not comparable with the others

The V Spec ran the same time as the Type R on the road course one of the magazines tested. Which says a lot about how great the handling is of this car, despite it being slower then the Type R!!!! Imagine if the V Spec was just as fast? It would probably get an even better time.

Type R is nice, but wouldn't the RSX be the fastest? I heard 14.4-14.5 1/4 mile STOCK? The RSX is kind of ugly, but it will grow on you, I am more used to it's looks now then before..

It depends what you are looking to make out of the car.... either way, the Maxima is not in that class of cars

Okay: Acura Integra R= Fast and cool looking as hell. And rare. RSX type S= uglier, but not ugly, and faster (significantly I believe) dunno anything about V specs, but I'd definetely choose between the Type R or the RSX type S. Does anyone know what the stock 1/4 mile time is for a Type R and RSX type s?

Well, I've driven both the Integra Type R AND the Sentra SE-R Spec V, and although the Type R handles better than the rest of those, I'd totally go for the Spec V! Believe me, the Spec V isn't all THAT far off, handling-wise!!

Like Jeff said, don't let the numbers fool ya. If you really want an awesome handling car, that Type R can't be beat. And the mods are already well in place, thanks to the gazillion Honda owners out there...

But I'm one for individuality AND performance. I see waaay too many Integras out there to try and justify weeding myself out of the crowd by getting one.

That's one of the reasons I like my Max. There are only a handfull of 3rd Gen Maximas here where I live, none are modded at all, and I'm fairly certain that all of them (except this maroon one that this fyne as f*** girl drives - but that's another story) are driven by 55+ year olds with no inkling what a "mod" is.

Just MY $0.02 worth!!!

Since I am a Nissan fan, I say Spec V 6 speed. I had the opportunity to drive one. And 1st gear pulls sooo hard it is insane. 2nd and 3rd have some work to be done. I didnt get into sixth but the dealer told me it pulls the hardest on the top end. Handling is also sweet. Not to mention it is roomier than the other cars mentioned, besides the Max. I know there will be tons of bolt ons for the Spec V. I heard at SEMA there was a NISMO Spec V that was dynoed at well over 300hp N/A.
