goin' to junk yard, need question answered ASAP!

I'm going to a salvage yard tomorrow to get a new door (ripped apart) but I have no idea how to remove the door when I get there. Has anyone done this before and knows how to do it or can you tell me where to get the information I need. Thanks!

i've never done it personally on a maxima but i have done this before. there may be a lot to worry about depending on what you are getting. do you just want the door or are you planning taking the glass, door panel and all insides? as far as removing the door it's basically 2 hinges. i would just remove the hinges and you'll be good to go. then you have to worry about wiring etc.

I'm taking the whole door, so i would imagine i just remove the pins on the hinges, slide them out, and disconnect the wires going to the door. It will probably be much more complicated than this though!

You need to unbolt the hinge from the door or the car. Go out to your car and look at it, it's pretty simple.

most yards arund here will pull the door for you if you call first. the problem is they usually remove them with a chainsaw and a hammer. but give them a call first and see if they'll remove it for you first.
