Ummmm, I'm pretty sure the VE engine doesn't have ignition wires.....

You are correct sir! It does not. Each cylinder has it's own ignition coil sitting directly on top of each spark plug. Took me a while to figure out why I couldn't find any either. They say HKS has a Twin Fire box for coil-less ignitions, but I can't see what good it can do.

MDS makes an ignition box for our VE's. Would this help at all? Who has it? I think all it does is make a better, hotter spark. We already have a really good spark with our individual coil packs and platinum plugs. So, who know about these on the VE?

if you are reffering to the Stacker I think there are some wiring issues with the Maimxa and its coil packs.....

Yeap, the Stacker Series Ignition Boxes. I believe MSD has another box that's not Stacker. It's just a regular distributorless ignition box. I'm wondering if it helps the VE's.

yeah, rumor was a few months ago this 5th gen guy hooked up a Stacker, turned out to be BS though...the wiring just doesn't go! and also the othe MSD DIS units don't work on a VE Max either, usually only 4cyl(2-4 coil), vehiles and some of the new V-8 stangs(Jacobs DIS)!

Just so I get this straight: There aren't even any brightly coloured ignition wires for VEs?

That sucks because it's always nice to add just a little flash under the hood. I don't suppose those kits where you make your own wires would work either because of the different boots on the ends right?

For a VG i recommend the Jacobs Ice Pack......Combine that with a JWT ECU and you should have yourself a very nice combo

The wires that send the signal to the coils on a VE are all covered in black electrical tape. I re-covered mine with red tape for some color.
