roof

On the roof? you think that would work, i thought about it, but i was worried about birds running into it...... But like seriously.....as u know, maximas aren't graced with huge front grills......i'm thinking about making my stock front grill into mersh and then mounting it behind there, but also i'm wondering about mounting it lower .........

Re: roof

one of the turbo 3rd gens has a front mount(Maximamike has pics), just buy yourself a front spoiler from(Stillen, WW, etc.) to support it from underneath and put the FMIC right under the front bumper area. measure out the area and buy an intercooler according to the area you measured...there are plenty of "small" intercoolers out there on the market!

something else you might want to consider is if you don't care if people can see it then get a scoop molded to the hodd and mount it like the wrx has it. there is enough room for a small intercooler depending on the model max you have.

Mount it on your hood. You get the coolest air there. Do you wanna buy some spark plug wire furnaces and piston return springs? I have a set or 2 in my closet..

I've got a 91 GXE, but i'm not looking yo have a hood scoop on my car, looks too weird. I saw that blue max that had a modified big mouth kit, might consider something like that, but not sure i want to really go in that direction....

I'd be interested in the furnaces, but only if they use charcoal.....

That would be the best place, it would get the best airflow.

How many psi do you think you would loose with 15+ feet of piping?
