pimped out, or loaded with goodies?

I'm sticking with a semi-stock look on mine, but I've probably got just as many, or more goodies than most people..
pics of my car are at http://24.1.29.190/blehm/pics/

mines not too pimped out but i just got it. I saw this thing in a merc villager today. it was one of those built into the sunvisor garage door openers with a 3 minute voice recorder on it. cool man it was cool. Im thinking of getting one from a junkyard or maybe ordering from dealer and putting it in my max

(grins)...mine's ok...there's no back seat, but i do have blue lights all around (except the f**kin map lights!!) and a razo carbon fiber shift ****, wheelskins hand stitched steering wheel and leather shift boot. I put blue lights behind the speedo (all 4 lights), also the glovebox, trunk, etc. I have the crappy sony cd player because I'm too lazy to go out and buy and install a new one. PowerAcustik's all the way around (component system too!). I'm working on finding a good price for recaro racing seats and putting either a 4 point or a 5 point harness on each of them. I have to figure out a way to get rid of the auto seatbelts...MAN I hate those things!!!

Once you find a way to mount the 4/5 pt harnesses in the new seats, you can remove the sliding part of the seatbelt, and "hot-wire" the switch so that it thinks the belt is buckled and it won't ding at you...
it's gonna take a little work, but it can be done fairly easily I'm sure. remove a few parts here, splice a wire there, bolt new seat here...

But is YOUR dad's a 63 1/2 Galaxie 500?

which engine? I assume all the 500s have the 289 in it?
tranny? this one is the 3-in-the-tree.. kinda cool overdrive on it too, but you gotta get used to it..
this **** and light up the tires in all 3 gears.. pretty scary for a 4500lb BOAT with only a 4.7L engine!
(yes, it's slightly modded. hehehe)

we have 5 point harnesses in the CRX, dude, it's a mad pain to buckle in. well, at least in my opinion. just remember that if this is your daily driver.

I got yellow racing seats, black and yellow door panels, custom ceiling and carpeting and my back seats taken out. In place of the seats I have two 12" subs, two amps and a NOS bottle resting between them.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed

I have carbon fiber dash from JT. I think it looks pretty nice with my black leather interior. If you want to see pics of it, go to my site by clicking on the pic of my car then goto "gallery" and then "mine"

here's a pic of someone else's car (I think Kaleb said his name is Tim Hamilton or something like that) that has silver paint over a lot of parts and it looks pretty good

All that takes is one can of spray paint to do. Not bad, but I redid every detail in my interior. It used to be brown, but now the whole inside is black and yellow. Took me over a month to do. I guess that Matt thinks its f***ed up but if he saw it he'd think different. Why not hook it up for a little show and racing at the same time.

Just take out the pieces of the interior that you would like to paint. sand them down real good and paint them. Put a couple of coats of clear coat on and put the pieces back in the car. This adds a nice custom look to the interior for about $10. Just take your time when painting, so it comes out nice.

YES

(IN Your Own Honest Opinion) it looks cheap, I myself would love to go out and buy a full carbon fiber kit for my Max but its not in my budget right now and i think that looks pretty decent on his car as far as i can tell but I would like to see a close up if possible

If you paint an interior nice than it looks good. If its not done right than ofcourse it looks bad. Most show cars paint the inside interior. They use the same paint that they used on the outside. That is what I did with mine and it looks nice. People think I bought a new interior.

I'm working on it. I'm at school so it's kinda hard to take pics with my car not with me. I'll be home on thanksgiving so I will get some then for sure.

My car is gold right now. I'm gonna paint it some kind of mettalic blue. I have already mixed the paint. Its kinda hard to explain what color it is but it is unlike any other stock Maxima color.

heh...is it "Pearl Blue Metallic"? Thats one of the OEM colors on the 2000 Mustang GT (AHH He said domestic!) I was VERY close to getting my car painted that color, but It would cost close to $2000 (or more) for that color change. So instead, I got the front/rear bumpers and the plastic things on the door painted because they were fading/thinning really BAD!, along with the whole car "polished" all for about $700. It looks (and especially feels) like new. It's realy incredible how the silver looks when it's nice and clean...i'm just like "wow!"...

actually the color of paint is unknown. I had like 10 quarts of different color paints and I mixed them together. It came out being an awsome color blue. I am going to do all of the painting myself to save on money. I have a couple of friends who paint for a living. I cant wait to see what the color looks like. The interior is already accented in this color blue, so it should look really nice when its all done. The interior is mainly yellow because the outside will have yellow accents such as yellow calipers, wipers, and grille.
