HISSING SOUND WHILE DRIVING
So for those of you who dont know, i had my pipes changed starting from the cat to the muffler, and i also changed my front y pipe to a WSP. I had hissing while driving even before that. I had thought it was the stock y pipe, being as old as it is, it needed changing anyways. Even after changing it to the WSP, i still have hissing but even louder. Today i took my car back to the Exhaust shop, the only thing i could think of that is making that hissing sound is the cat, i thought it was a leak. Turns out it was the exhaust manifold, needs a new gasket. If you guys have that same problem, this is what the problem is. i wonder how much its gonna cost hmm.

There are two flares where it joints the engine. For me, I remembered they didn't sent me very good gaskets so I ended up using some o2 safe gasket maker instead and it sealed it. The hiss and smoke went away ever since. Check to see if there are a leak somewhere. If you see smoke coming out, it's probably due to poor gasket contact.

Try this....
Make a solution of washing up liquid and water. When the car is cold, paint the liquid over the exhaust connections and fire up the engine for a bit. If bubbles start appearing, Bingo, you have found the scource of your whistling.
Don'r do it whilst hot

actually, the front manifold was bad too, 3 bolts broke in back manifold and 3 broke in the front manifold so they had to drill out the broken bolts and install new ones, as well as installing the new gaskets. no more hissing. they said 550, but i only gave em 520.
