I have a oem replacement muffler on my '91 SE which has dual outlet. However the replacement outlet pipes are 1-3/4" od and the original is like 1-5/8" od. Where can I find an oem style tip too fit?

when I got the fartcan on my civic replaced with a normal muffler on friday, i asked the guy at the exhaust shop if he had any tips, so he grabbed one out of a bucket and welded it on. not too bad.. better than the dinky tipless 1.75"-ish exhaust that comes stock.

i imagine that exhaust shops can order whatever sort of tip you want.. pick a well-known one and ask them what they can do for you. The guy i went to is the only mandrel-bender in NC tho i didn't need any mandrel bends, I trust him with my exhaust needs. But he has all the right stuff, and threw in the tip at no extra charge.

some shops will just throw in a tip for free, when i got my Magnaflow on the guy asked if i wanted a tip when i dropped off the car and i said no, when i picked it up he said he had a spare one and welded it on for free

Cut those small bastards down to about 1.5" long and tack weld you on some 2.5'-3" tips to the muffler end plate....and call it the day!

Tack welds can also be cut and you can still sell those tips as well!

I think I found it. Nissan #20080-85E00 but nobody has one in my area to check the size. It came on 2001 Altima, 2001-2003 Maxima and Sentra. If anyone has this vehicle, I'd appreciate knowing what the outside diameter of the exhaust pipe is.
