schematic electrical headlight hight adjustment

I can't find anythin in the 1994 FSM about the electrical height adjustment for headlights.

I pulled the headlights with this from a '89 and want to install it in my car, but need some kind of schematic to wire it.

They should be the same unless someone modded those headlights!

never heard of this before. the only electrical elements on the headlights should be the bulbs.. and MAYBE wipers (if some countries got headlight wipers) but otherwise i'm not aware of any other electronic elements in our headlights.

strange, did look original in the car, wiring to the motors was together with the other engine harness.

imo that looks like factory.. whether it came from a non-maxima car originally, or just some non-USDM 3rd gen, i can't say. But everything just looks pre-molded and pre-designed, rather than an afterthought. sadly without the control unit and some sort of sensor to measure level-ness, it won't work tho.

The front is just like my other lights, haven't mounted them yet, as I dont know what position they are in.
I'll do a test run to see if they work, in my FSM for Nissan Laurel, there is no control box for it's adjustable lights.
No sensor needed, the switch (right side of pic) controls height, for the Laurel that is.

oh so the motor unit has the leveling sensor inside it? i guess that's convenient. in that case isn't it just a matter of tapping power and ground?

wow, i'm actually really surprised that no one (that has said anything in this thread yet) has seen lights like this before. this is pretty sweet. and imo they def. look factory. all the plastic moulding and screws etc line up perfectly and there are no hacking and cutting marks.
i wonder if courtesyparts or any dealer supplies headlights like this?

The height of the lights are adjusted with the 0-1-2-3 position switch (no sensor), when I set it at ie. 2 the motor goes to "step 2", so the switch has 12v in, and when switched to another setting it just send 12v to another wire.
Should be pretty easy to install I think.

yeah, that isn't auto-levelling. the **** makes the adjustments. Doesn't look aftermarket either, probably non USDM. Is that a city light it has too? Cool find.

Yes, you can see the switch in the second picture.

Live in Norway, so got headlight wipers too

European models both of them.

well looking at the picture that has the switch, if you look at the underside of the servo there are holes for what appears to be where the manual adjuster would screw on as well as an in print in the paint where it was.

either way im no expert on lights, i think wiking would know more about this set up if is stock maybe ?

non the less it looks cool.
