Parkway Cruise at 65. About 98 GXE coming on about 80, drop down to third, pulled even, looked over and nailed it. Backdown about 115, had em by over 1 car length. VTCs are cool when they are work.

 

That's what people told me when gobbled up a VE(mostly likely stock and auto, but nonetheless) on the freeway. I'm not saying I can beat you/any VE...I'm just stating a case similar to yours

 

You have no clue of the VE's upper range power. Thats the VQ's weak spot too. It runs out of juice in the higher RPM's where the VE just keeps steamin. I think it would make a hell of a road racing engine.. *Thinking warm thoughts* Wanna hit up Lime Rock Alan? Mwahaha..

I know'd I'd lose to a 5-spd VE with mods, but then again with the sh*tty driver behiind the wheel and those heavy 'stang wheels you never know;-)
