strut tower bar... please help!!!

Can anyone help me find a decent strut tower bar for under $100??? I had to return my Stillen ($200- very overpriced) because it didn't fit like they said it would. I have a 3.0L SOHC. Please help!!
Also, I'm looking for a complete bushings replacement kit if anyone has a direction for me to look. Thanks again!

I found nothing for the 3rd Gen maxima on this sight. They had strut bars and bushing kits for 4th Gen but not for the third. Thanks for your help, though! I will keep searching, and hopefully someone will be able to help me find what I'm looking for. Thanks again!

Try using the "search" function at the top of the page. Look for "FSTB" - you will find a mind numbing amount of info, but here's all you need:

Most 4th Gen bars fit your VG-engined car. So if you find another brand of FSTB then you can probably use it. The Courtesy bar is located in the 4th Gen part of their site and should work okay (AFAIK). (No one really makes bars specifically for 3rd Gens anymore.)

Well here's another illusion shattered According to Kaleb on the BBS, they've done something to the end brackets so that it won't fit the 3rd Gen anymore. He didn't elaborate on this so one can only guess what they did. It has been assumed in the past that they all fit okay because the bolt patterns for both generations are the same.

Oh, I screwed up and forgot to mention another thing: I actually went and bought a Freedom Design bar because someone had one that fit his VE, but the one I got looks very different. Anyway, the end brackets are way too low so it won't fit over my intake manifold. I forgot that the AC line on the passenger's side is also in the way and this might be the case for the VG-engined cars too. Sorry about the confusion with all this, I think I'll go hide in a corner for a while...

I just ordered a FSTB from www.procarpars.com I will let you all know if there are any problems with the installation.

BTW for those of you who don't know, I have a VE max, so if it works on my Max, it will fit on any 3rd gen.
