Suspension

Wondering if it is absolutely neccesary to get new struts when putting lowering springs on? Will ride be super harsh with suspension tech springs and stock struts? I want to lower my car for as cheap as possible with a decent ride quality. Thnks my car is a 93 GXE.

Its not necessary. I lowered my car in June of 2000 with out new struts. Now my struts are bad and ill be replacing them the first of the year.

It's cheaper to have it done all at once. Plus aftermarket dampers will handle your lowered suspension better. And, the darn things are 9 years old by now.

Thnks for the tips, guess I gotta save a little more money now. Your probably right my stock struts must be a little worn out by now anyway.
