Short throw shifter

Has anyone had any experience with Pacesetter short throw shifter, reliability and quality? How difficult is it to install? Any information will be appreciated.

I installed mine myself and love it. It is a lot more fun to drive the car. Matt93se posted something a month ago or so about being able to modify the stock shifter to make a shorter throw by moving the ball up on it wtih some vice grips but I dont have any experience with that
I got my Pacesetter from ebay a while back for $60.
Install is dirty but not too bad. You have to remove the heat shield above the catalytic converter. If you can remove the cat, that would be great, but the bolts were too rusty for me to get them off so I removed teh ones holding the rubber hangers and that gave me enough room to work
from there you can pretty much see which bolts need to be removed to get the stock shifter out; pull it out through the inside of the car
check out this 4th gen how-to; it's pretty similar:

good luck
