OK i own a 91 se stick
I bought some clear corners and about 8 months later the left Side markerlight turned frm clear to yellow its not to cool
Does anyone know the problem???
I tried turpentine and that didnt work someone told me to try alcohol is htat a good idea????
I called the manufacture and the store but they said i was out of luck
If soo please help me

 

probably what happened is the light got some water in it and the yellow you see is from the metal rusting..


the fix? not really one.. you can try alcohol, but I doubt if it'll do much. alcohol at least won't hurt the plastic- turpentine might..
the next step is hydrochloric acid.. it'll dissolve rust, but it's pretty nasty stuff.. (that's what CLR is, if you've ever heard of it.. they just mix a decent strength of hydrochloric and sulfuric acid and market it unter a brand name for a huge markup)
