read the FAQ pages in all the stickies above.. it'll tell you everything you wanted to know about that switch.

(also read your owner's manual.)

I'll answer this one, just cuz it's one of the few things I can answer on The power/comfort switch determines when you car shifts gears, Power makes it shift at roughly 4500 rpm, in the middle is around 4000, and comfort is about 3500. If you set it on power, you can accelerate more quickly, comfort makes the shifts much more comfortable and less jerky. Keep it on power all the time, I'd say, unless the shifts really bother you.. for two reasons: One it makes your car quicker which is always good, and secondly it improves gas mileage a bit.

Well you're almost right..

you need to read the FAQs yourself..

the switch changes the shift pattern, but decided by how you're driving. floor the car with the switch in any position and it'll shift at redline (or just under).
accelerate at normal speeds, and each mode will shift about 300rpm different from the other.

in "P" mode, it also downshifts easier with less additional throttle input.

i.e. read the faqs. it's explained in there in great detail.

Hey I'm still right! I thought it would be just a little too obvious to point out that when you go into WOT it's gonna almost redline. That's the case no matter what car you're driving..
