Z32 NA wheels too high offset for 3rd gen?

Hey guys, I know there are a few guys on here running nonturbo 300zx wheels on here, but I couldn't find too much info or pics. If you have run these before can you give me some more information about problems you might have encountered. I found a nice set and was thinking about gettting them, but I don't want to have to run a high spacer or have then stick out past the wheel wells. THanks for you help!

They're a bit high offset, so you'll have to add something like 1/4" spacers or so to make them fit in the rear. (They rub the struts on the inside)

what Matt said. You can probably run up to a 20mm spacer if you want them to be flush with the fenders. Burhan had them on a 25mm spacer in the rear but I think but I'd be weary to have that low of a [wheel+spacer] offset on a dropped car, or if your car is a GXE (had a pretty soft suspension).

Z32 Wheels

Thanks for the help guys. So if I add at least a 1/4 inch or like a 10mm spacer I should be good then in the back then? -I'm planning on running the stock 225/50/16 size all the way around does that sound like the right size to go with without having any problems? At what point do you think I should get longer wheel studs...if I go more than the 1/4 inch or 10mm? Thanks again, I'm going to buy these tomorrow and I want to make sure I don't screw myself.

You'll need longer studs if you go to the 10mm spacer. about 1/4" is as far as you can go on the factory wheel studs- they're just not very long at all.

Unfortunately that means you're going to be paying out the nose for some Eibach or H&R or NISMO studs. The Ichiba studs are crap- I wouldn't touch them.

the 1/4" spacer should clear though and you should be able to do that on the facotyr studs.

225/50/16 is a great size for the car. go for it. LOTS of good tires in that size, they fit the factory overall tire diameter the best, and they fit on a 7 or 7.5" wide wheel very well too.

Thanks Matt, all that information is good to know. I think this weekend I'll try a 1/4 spacer and see how that works out first then. I don't really want to drop the cash for the mack-daddy H&R/Nismo/Eibach spacers but I definitely need to be safe so I'll cross that road when I get there I guess. Thanks for all the input, I'll be test fitting them when I have some time this weekend, so I'll have to report back (hopefully with good news!)

Just so you know the front N/A Z32's are 16x7.5" +45, the turbo rears are 16x8.5 +35. I have a set of the turbo rears on my car in my sig., I know its a fourth gen but the fenders hit the top/side of the tire is the strut goes down too much.
