gauge cluster is a direct swap, can't remember if you have that, or not.
recomend the VE cluster, if you find one.
also, I am partial to the 240sx steering wheel if you can (I grabbed mine for about $15, i think?) mine works great: horn cruise, fit, comfort...LOOK...

edit: HEATED MIRRORS are a direct swap. just grab both mirrors and the mirror switch. no extra wiring needed.

grab everything you might need eventually, hood struts, corner lights, etc. ive actually gotten the good hood struts and good corner lights out of almost every 3rd gen at the pick n pull here, so i have about 6 pairs of corner lights and 8 pairs of hood struts lol. if you have stock rims, get the centrecaps if there are any. should be a buck or two and theyre a bit hard to find

i didnt like the thick padded GXE armrest on the centre console, i got a thin leather one from a SE for a few bucks and its comfy

I like the 92-94 grille more than the 89-91 version so I changed the one on mine. That might be of some interest.

And today I got a set of mud flaps from the pick a part. Just that I need to get the clips from Courtesy along with other stuff I'm gonna get.

blah, 89-91 SE cluster is all you really need on a VG. having the numbers spread out more makes it easier to read besides the VG 3rd gens BARELY have enough ***** to get over 130. and frankly if you're going that fast who cares what the speedo says, if you get pulled, you're toast.

eh, i like 3rd gens more without mudflaps, and mine caused my wheelwell rust after i fixed the rust, i whipped those dam mudflaps in the garbage (even THEY were rusty)

air filter is sometimes worth jacking if its in good shape, i replaced mine a couple months ago but i got a K&N from a 3rd gen. light bulbs are worth taking as well from the taillights

if you want you can take the clock too, kinda hard to get out but some people seem to have a problem where their 3rd gens clock dies.

well, yes. but the 145 speedo looks better.
went to the track one day(), got mine up to 110, and it gave no more. but mine also has less ***** than normal, due to hitting 256k miles this week.

meh for a street car i prefer the 125's. the 'sweet spot' of the gauge is basically between 10-and-2.. so i'd rather have that b e 45-80 with 65 at 12-o'clock instead of 55-95 with 75 at 12-o'clock. tho my civic's is WAY worse than speedo that i've paid attention to before.. the car's top speed is probably 115 tops, so why the heck does it run to 150 and have 80 at the 12-o'clock position? retarded! plus i hate the numberins/lines/tickmarks (20's-by-20/10's/2's) .. 3rd gen has MUCH better numbering/marking (5's-by-10/5's/1's).

meh, my gauges are off, so at 70, it's pointing straight up; easy to see, and it's my normal speed (mostly highway driving).
oddly, it did that (was off by five at 70) with the stock cluster. odo is right, so wtf?

I use my heated mirrors frequently; yesterday, I went out to my car, windows and mirrors were iced over. hit the switch, it melted insta-quick. this morning, they were dew covered (stupid oklahoma weather... it was 74* today, they are predicting 4-6" of snow in the next day...), 15-20 seconds, dry as a small Texas town. when it rains, flip the switch, mirrors are drip-free, in seconds. well worth my time and money for me.

I thought you had no money

Anyway, you can convert from digital to analog, but it's more work than simply swapping clusters. Easier and cheaper just to have me repair or replace your display as we discussed..

What about the power seats in the GXE's. Id love to have those in car, just wondering if they would swap out without any problems?

they do, you just need to source a power wire to hook up to the seat but the actual mounting holes on the tracks are in the same place.

IS there a power wire or plug in the cars without power seats? I was asking because I have a 93 GXE and I dont have factory fog lights, but when I did a speedometer swap, there was a plug for it there in the dash. Just was wondering if it the same for the seats?

i don't think it's prewired. the FSM should show the wiring diagram for it tho so you should be able to find what circuit it gets power from on power-seat-equipped cars. as far as i know it shares a fuse with other items rather than having its own dedicated fuse.

Speaking of how high a car's speedo goes up - did you guys ever find it hilarious in high school when guys (or even amongst adult idiots) would think that because their speedo goes up to 150 that their car MUST be able to go 150?

i encourage any high-schooler to try that in my car it'll hit a wall at 110 and leave them wondering why the vtakz didn't pop . not that i've tried it, not that i want to (it would take an eternity to get it to 110, and it's unstable even at 80mph) but yea... the corvette c5 speedo > *. counts by tens from 0-100, and by twenties from 100-200. which is the way all speedos that go over 100mph should be.. more spread out below 100mph, more packed above.

lol i had that, i took a guy in my Max and he said "WTF it only goes to xxxkm/h? youve got a slow *** car". my moms 3rd gen Prelude (2.0 SI) went to 240km/h i believe and i was like yeah right lol. i would be surprised if that thing could hit 150

even go on YouTube, R32 GTR speedo's went to 180km/h only (though its capable of far faster stock) yet people go "WTF MY CIVIC GOEZ FASTA THAN DAT, ITS SPEEDO GOES TO 220km/h!!!11!!!11!!!" on 0-100km/h videos.

well in the US during the 80's, speedos only went up to 85mph (135kph?) no matter what car it was. so yea even the C4 corvettes had the 85mph speedo despite having well over 200hp on the L83 and L98 engines during that time.

i know there were exceptions.. guess some waited till a new generation before changing the gauges vs changing them as soon as they were allowed to. some mach1 or cobra speedos from that time were numbered to 85 but tickmarked to much higher speeds.

so heres wat i got:
2 window regulators (drivers side and passanger)
drivers wondow control switch thing
1 break caliper
1 head light bezel
1 fog light switch
1 fog light relay

the saddest part about it was that i automatically thought my car was prewired for fogs.. but.. that wasnt the case. :/
i went to put in the relay in the relay box in front f the battery and it was just an empty hole where the relay should go.. haha
but now all my windows roll down and up and my drivers side headlight is held in place correctly and i dont have a leaky caliper piston
