replacing rear window defroster

I've done some searches about rear window defrosters and couldn't find anything that'll help. I had my rear window tint redone this summer and when they took off the old tint, some lines came off. I was wondering if it's possible to take out the defroster lines and put on some new ones. Does the dealer sell this? Is this even a part that I can order?

i dono, but it seems like if anything it would be something you could get at an auto store that you could just use on any car. i was taking an old college sticker off the inside a few months back with a razor and accidentily chipped a little off, but it still works. so i dono, but if you haven't checked yet, you might wanna see if it still works.

If the damage is just tiny breaks (or short breaks I suppose), they sell this repair kit with electrically conductive paint that you can use to bridge gaps in the lines (mask off, paint, dry, voila!). Costs like $30 Cdn here.

Don't think you can use this to repaint a whole line though Maybe check with a auto glass shop and see if they can fix it - only a phone call away.
