Anyone watch "COPS" tonight?

In one of the segments a cop tried to pull over a 3rd gen and the car crashed. Some old drunk dude was driving it and his old lady passenger got stuffed under the dash from not wearing the lap belt.

I noticed it was an older (non airbag steering wheel) GXE with some kind of aftermarket spoiler. I also noticed it was one of the rare ones without a moonroof.

My wife was laughing because I picked up on all of the details...

I like the really way too honest guy in the last segment.

"Officer, I'll be honest, I can tell you everything I had to drink tonight.....oh yeah and I have two warrants out for me right now."

i don't think the airbag came out till 92. and my GXE didn't have a moonroof, tho i haven't actually seen how many do vs how many don't. seems like most if not all SE's have them.

Some SE's do not have sunroofs or airbags. May only be 92's I think.

my old white 92 gxe had one of the smaller aftermarket roofs
it did have auto movement instead of holding the button though
which could be turned on or off

My 94 does not have a moonroof and I've not been arrested in decades.

Last time I got arrested was in my GXE...

92= airbag optional
93+ = airbag standard

It was the 3rd (final) segment of the first episode (8 p.m.) on Portland's channel 12, which I think comes directly from FOX. The guide info on my Dish Network said it was from Oct. 2009, but I had never seen it before and I watch COPS almost every Saturday night. The guide is only right like 2/3 of the time.

All of the GXE spoilers I have seen were put on by the dealerships. They are not the foam ones, but either fiberglass or some kind of plastic. These spoilers look OEM, but they are aftermarket.

My 1994's metal paint is solid still, but I have already had to touch up the bumpers with a wetsanding and a few coats of paint & clear.
