How much do new cables for under the hood cost? Good idea to buy new ones?

What do you mean "cables"? If you mean new wiring harness... then... well... A LOT. If you are getting confused and mean new vacuum lines (lots of people change these, usually to add "stlye") then it's not hard or expensive. Please give more details for a better response.
