My engine shakes pretty bad at 1500rpm with a partially open throttle and only at 1500 rpm. Everything else including WOT is smooth sailing. I dont get it. Any idea?

 

How bout idle? I bet its an injector.

 

Idle is pretty smooth...not perfect but not even close to what 1500 rpm is like. Ill check the ohms on the injectors this weekend. If its an injector or 2 why would it only be at 1500 rpm?

 

My experience with downed injectors has been a lot like what you describe. I think at higher RPM's and with more throttle (WOT) the engine just gets enough air to more or less make up for the stuck open injector. Another simple thing would be to check to see if your exhaust smells like gas.

 

Does this towel smells like Chloroform?

 

it sounds like a vaccuum problem to me, maybe a leak or iacv?
