Right Hand Low Beam Problem

My passenger side low beam won't come on. I thought it was the switch, but after I replaced it, the problem persisted. I am able to manually connect the pins of the switch to make the driver side low beam come on, as well as both high beams. But when I connect the pins that should turn on the right beam, nothing happens... Any thoughts?

I realize that there is an old thread, but that one is mainly about the switch.

the switch is the most common but sometimes there's a short in the wiring harness leading to the switch, try moving the switch around while plugged in but not attached to the column and see if it changes, if it does, time to find your short.

Do you mean jiggle it around and see if that works? I've actually eliminated the switch from the picture and have been playing with the contacts on the harness.

Check the bulbs socket, I had mine start to melt due to corrosion. They sell new sockets at the auto parts stores. Solder and shrink tube the new socket in and you should be in business. If thats the problem!!, Which it sounds like to me.
