Our nissan maximas have cupholders !? did they come stock ? i have a 91 GXE which was bought used . .. just curious anyone have any pics of it or a link to one ?

damnt i'd love a cupholder instead of always holding my drink in my hands !

They were available on some 93-94 models without the Bose Double Din radio. Its a push compartment that has a plastic cover that slides out with two holes in it. I have no idea what you can fin in the smaller hole, like a small plastic cup or something. In the larger hole you wont be able to fit more than a Medium sized drink without toppling it over when you step on the gas. pretty cool device I must say though. I got mine from a junkyard for 5 bucks. Oh yeah, it looks better with a 92-94 center dash piece.

the 92-94 had cupholders just below the radio if they had the single din sized head unit
89-91 had a fold open compartment in that spot

it's not that great, it puts the drinks right in front of the stereo but I guess it's better than nothing (I dont have it so I dont know though)

YUK!! I hate those cup holders on the 3rd gens. You can't do anything with them and nothing seems to fit. I suggest you skip getting them!!!!!!!

Yeah i don't know if i'm going to bother with the cupholders, right now a have a cd player in the extra din housing untill i get a deck

ohhh well . . one positive of the dumb enginnering on nissans behalf is that, if theres no cupholders there shouldn't be no drinks, no drinks means no accidental messes !

f the cupholders..that's the only thing i complain about with my car...so i just make everyone else hold my stuff for the ride. it solves my problems just fine.

I have the same 1991 Nissan Maxima and not a cup holder.. Here is something you might have missed...Open your glove box.... Do you see 2 things that resemble cup holders... loonks like two circles .... but i doubt they hold cups... BTW those 6.00 cup holders from Strauss autozone and sears.. you know what i am talking about... dont hang on anywhere...What a drag... Now i have to drive with my Nu*z cold( Not a good feeling )....Not to meantion the hazard . Shi*t Minivans have like 100s of cup holders.... you be lucky to have someone next to you holding your drink.... that way i take wifey

I've had two cup holders in my arm rest for a long time now, but I haven't taken any pics yet. I made them out of sheet metal and they fit in the arm rest. They can hold 2 medium-sized cups from Wendy's. I'll post when I get the pics. Then no one will have to complain about not having cupholders anymore, should you decide to make them.

WTF! You have armrests?! Man, sounds like I missed the boat! I gotta get me some cupholders and armrests...Bought those cheap hanging cup holders you mentioned before..You're right! They suck! Where the hell am I supposed to hang that POS? IN MY MOUTH?!
