Heater core bypass

To make this connection.....Do I connect both hoses from the heater core (top and bottom) together? The threads through me for a loop.

I am in the process of saving doe up until I can spring for one.

It's as simple as that. Acting like you don't know.

Just use one hose and "U" it onto both heater core ends... pretty simple

Ok,

I understand that I will have to plug the heater core, but the inlet hose and the outlet hose from the heater are different sizes. Will I need to go from 5/8 to 3/4 to make a solid connection? Is the heater control valve assembly a part of the bypass loop, since the inlet from the heater core connects to it?

Oh, I'm not sure then. I thought they were both the same diameter. I'll let somebody else who's done it chime in..

I'm curious as to which one is 3/4.
