That crash test pic scares the heck out of me? Any picture of head on collisions by any of our members have survived?

3rd gens actually don't have very good crash test results. A 3rd gen is what nearly killed Brett Favre

There was also well-known model who was either killed or seriously fcuked up in a 3rd gen (can't remember the name).

Yeah I believe the 3rd gen had a 3 star crash rating.. Not sure if that was a specific category or overall though.. You can find it on google. My friend crashed my first one almost a decade ago doing about 100mph into the back of someone doing 50mph, and we were okay..

Shame I dont have any more.

Do the US 3rd Gens have the cutouts for the rear foglights in the rear bumper iron, or are they just a solid piece of steel? Im meaning the hole by the car assembly guys left knee. I realise the US cars dont have rear foglights, but just wondering if the hole is underneath. The NZ models only have the lenses installed in the rear bumper, with blanking plates behind that.
