O2 sensor and crank position sensor problems!!

My O2 sensor is shot along with cat/resonator pipe, totally rusted out. I knew the O2 was bad but today she was bogging like crazy/felt like bad spark, the ECU gave me 2 codes, which were 3red/3green O2 and 1red/1green CPS. I disconnected the 2 O2 plugs but still bogging/power surging, so I cleaned the plug connected to distributor and she staring running almost back 2 normal. I know when U disconnect the O2 plugs and it runs kinda normal it means replace O2 sensor but what should I do about crank position sensor?. Should I replace the exhaust/O2 sensor first and then worry about whats going on with distributor? I also wanted 2 know what deals are out there in buying distributor w/CPS, does anyone know who offers something like that?. I know some distributors come with cap/rotor, how bout CPS? This really fucckin' sucks, just came into a bit of dough and here it goes already, atleast I have it though.

I'm going to order the catback exhaust from Warpspeed for my Biitch, and i'm ordering a new catalitic converter from them also. I don't really have the money 4 the y-pipe right now or I would just order the whole exhaust from manifold 2 muffler tips, that will be next. Any suggestions on O2 sensors anybody? I know some of U have installed this exhaust before and I heard that warpspeed's y-pipes are right as far as power/torque. The distributor/crankshaft position sensor has me tight though, I wasn't expecting any problem's in that area. Should I replace distibutor or the CPS or just try and clean the damn thing, issue is that I hate fuuucking w/anything related to timing(U fuuck that up and start other issues). Havn't heard any replies on this topic yet but I started thread late last night, so I'll be waiting on some responses as I need some back up in this area, thanks in advance, Shiloh.

I don"t think they have many catbacks left. They were using Pacesetter's catbacks but they don't make them for the 3rd gen anymore. Dallas had to make mine out of some he had left lying around. If not you'll have to have ur own made.

so I cleaned the plug connected to distributor and she staring running almost back 2 normal.
So imo you probably located the issue with the CPS code and don't need to do anything more wrt that.

Fix the known and obvious stuff that is wrong first (O2) ............... clear the ECU and see if the CPS code comes back after driving till its hot

Yes I'm trying to do just that but now I'm gonna have a problem finding the pacesetter cat back exhaust 4 my ride it seems. Any suggestions on locating the Pacesetter's? Custom Maxima displays them on there site but you can't get them on the phone to confirm there in stock. Any other exhaust systems out there for good price that hooks right up to our third Gen's ?

Customizing Catback on My Max !!!

I ordered a highflow cat from Warpspeed performance today, a O2 sensor from Rockauto and a custom catback. I really only need the resonator but if the muffler looks better than what I have(1 year old), I'll install that too. I'm planning on ordering the y-pipe from warpspeed in a couple of weeks. By the way Warpspeed said on the phone that there going to have there own custom catback in a month if anybodies interested, I know I'm lookin foward 2 see that.

Exhaust Parts on there way!!!

Just an update if anybody is interested, the exhaust parts are shipped out and on there Fucckin' way!!!! I can't wait 4 this stuff so I can install and ride. I seen and heard this catback on two Max's and they sound right, plus they just had the catback, I'm adding a highcat in the mix. If all goes well I'm ordering Warpspeed's y-pipe(even if some think cattmans is better), some header's and thinking bout some nice tubing to my intake w/ the K&N filter I have in the factory airbox.

Yeah you were right on the money bout the pacesetter's, found them in Canada but they wanted too much for them w/ ship/hand so I'm hooking up some 4th gen customs up w/some fabs for the fit differences and ordered high flow cat from warpspeed.
