Any reason my cigarette lighter stop working? I checked the fuses under the dash and everything is fine.

I just want to make sure I don't have a major electrical issue before getting a new HU for the max.

 

Have you had the dash panel off around the HU? If you have, did you unplug the cig lighter and not plug it back in? or possibly the plug fall off without you noticing? If i remember correctly, there is a spade type terminal at the side which has a positive feel when plugged in, and a round terminal at the back, which never feels that secure when plugged in.

 

I didn't remove anything yet though.

 

Pulling the deck out to inspect the wiring would be a step in the right direction. If your fuses are in tact you can rule out a "major electrical issue".
