10-14 ohm for fuel injectors OK, BUT...

Anybody heard a number regarding the variance BETWEEN injectors? An Injector shop told me ".5 ohm", but they also renew/sell injectors.

Like compression tests, 140psi is not bad, but next to a few 190psi cylinders is a different story. Can anybody shed some light?

MY STATS:
#1: 13.1 ohms
#3: 163.2 ohms (to be replaced)
#5: 13.9 ohms (Hmmmm...)
#6: 12.4 ohms
#4: 13.2 ohms
#2: No Data Avail. (couldn't reach it)

Currently, I plan on replacing ONLY the bad one and have never replaced any injectors in 230k miles (24-25mpg hi-way when operating properly)

1, 4, 5, and 6 are fine. the variances won't hurt anything. I would still recommend checking #2 before you start. there should be a harness on the trans side of the engine that goes to those injectors, so you can test it.

I'll have to go look for that harness. I see people taking off distrib cap and rotor to get to that injector as well, but I don't see how there is clearance to remove the plug to get to injector elec. prongs to test/clean. You should have seen all the green dust in the air from corrosion on the other injectors.
