The antenna is inside the trunk, easy to get to.
You will need a special tool to take off the nut on the rear fender that holds the antenna to the outside of the fender. Shouldn't be hard to find the tool.

Do you want to repair it (it's not supposed to stick up all the time) or replace it with a "stubby" antenna?

if you don't want to get the special tool to undo the nut at the top of the antenna you can use a pair of needle nose pliers, just fit the ends in the holes and twist.

so to just fully get rid of it, you just remove it, cut the wiring, fill the hole and presto?

question but you cant wire up a stubby antenna and hide it in the trunk can you?
