Not only that it bows, it's just too far back. The 3rd gen front end is guilty of looking too pointed. Hence why the Stillen lip looks so good, because it extends the front end out and down.

This, if anything, just draws more attention to how pointed the front end is, IMO. It might look good if it were extended out even with the most protruding part of the front end

Wheels are 18" and the tires are 225/40/18s and yes on Intrax

I've been telling chromey for a while now that the Ksports are more like 1.5"ish drop rather than the listed 2.2"

I've actually been trying to remember how wide the wheels are. I can't find my invoice for the wheels and I can't for the life of me remember. I'm sure they're 7.5" though

I'm also running 22 mm hubcentric adapter-style spacers (to clear the BBK)

Lets see pics now that you've got the whole car lowered!

Why are you making threads on someone's behalf? Leave it to him. If he wants to show it then let him make a thread about it. If you didn't know who it was that would be one thing, but you do. I'd be pretty pissed if someone unveiled my homemade vinyl carpet moulding body kit without my permission..

What's totally unnecessary is making a thread about another member's project. If he wanted to show it off here, he would do it himself. Maybe there's a reason he hasn't. Start your own project and make a thread about that.

Why does it always have to be sooo negative with some of you guys on here ?? This thread was more of a follow up thread for my previous thread "DIY Roof Spoiler" Look it up brother

In one sense I do see where youre coming from hectic, but ya know, if it was such a bad thing for me to do to pbfreak, then why dont you let him speak for himself ??
In no way, shape, or form was I tryin to steal pbfreaks thunder, hence the fact that his project doesnt really look good IMO lol. Does this not seem reasonable to anyone else on here ?? hahah

It's not about whether or not he cares, when he did it, when he posted it at NC or even who or what mod it's about. As someone who has spend countless hours on custom projects, it strikes a nerve. I'm not being negative or positive, just standing up for the visionaries. Let the person who thought of - and did it, show it off. I'm sure you meant nothing by it and for all I know he might be flattered by the thread..

Holy cow!!!

Bringin' back some memories for sure!

Well, 1st off, yes I made that about 4 years ago now. I was a freshman in college and did that in one night. It was done in the fall and the double sided tape held for about a month before it fell off. That was also the reason it bowed, cause it was cold that night and the plastic was stiff, although from looking at it from the front straight on, the bow wasn't noticeable.

Yeah it looks bad, but it looked a hell of a lot better than nothing especially in the price comparison from 250 plus for a stillen or 14 dollars for that.

I can't take credit for that though, as I saw it a few different times on some s13's and the like as a cheap lip for drifters, as it could be ripped off and put back on no problem.

As for everyone getting on his case for posting it, its no big deal. I posted it on NICO and that made it public and I'm glad someone saw it and acknowledged my cheap ingenuity lol. And besides Jcarryl didn't say he did it, or gave me the idea, or anything of the like, just simple said check this out too haha

If I didn't want people to see it or comment on it, good or bad, I wouldn't have posted it at all.

I thought I posted that on here too, but apparently not.

Anyway, seeing those pictures makes me a little sad cause I recently sold the car to a friend. I still see her and yes she is still running great. 224K and ticking.

As for me not being on here lately, I've been lurking mainly, although I'm in the always in the market for picking up a 3rd gen haha.

Hahaha good to here from ya man! I'm glad you understood my reasoning for the post! lol I've been in the whole DIY mood this month and have been all over the internet lookin at different ideas and that's how i came across yours. I just typed in google images, DIY front lip, and yours was on one of the first pages lol I was like holy crap a terd gen! and its from a guy i almost bought mudflaps from!! Soo far ive tried everything from a garage door seal (which has looked the best so far) to this cheap black foam/rubber thang on ebay to a 93 accord front mugen lip (just barely not long enough) hahah
