There is also Borla. I remember hearing a '95 (I think) SE with a Borla (not sure which) and it sounded awesome! It was somewhere between a BMW and a Porsche with the deep, throaty growl to it. I'm putting dual Borla's on my max, unless I find out it somehow makes it sound ricey (doubt it).

Mykizism, what Flowmaster do you have?! It actually makes your max sound ricey? I would have thought it would give it a deeper, more throaty sound. Rice is exactly the reason I've stayed away from those stuipid Greddy and other Japanese catbacks for our max's. That and the fact that they're about $500+!

Someone just mentioned Dynomax in another post.

I vote for Dynomax Race Magnum V8 rumble under 3k rpm, and very low hum above! and only $60-70 @ jegs.com! I might be selling mine next month for REALLY cheap if anyone is interested...hangers are already pre-installed so it a direct clamp-on to the stock piping!

Da-Max, does it really have that throaty v8 rumble to it? That's exactly what I'm looking for ever since I heard some mp3's of some guy's 4th gen with Borla or Dynomax mufflers.

Anyone know of a muffler that does the exact opposite? I remember reading about some brand/model that was quiet at low RPM, then made more noise as you revved it up (this is years ago in a musclecar mag). I do most of my driving under 3K, but it might be neat to have something let the car roar above that.
