wanted to know

My car has been idiling rough and today i saw a hose that comes from the air filter and has a metal attachtment at the end of it , just wanted to know where it is connected to because its just hanging in the air.Any help would be appreciated .

Could you be more specific and/or take a picture?

The air box has an intake tube that goes UNDER it and routes toward the front of the car near the headlight. Then there should be two hoses that route off the intake pipe in between the MAF and the TB (at least on the VE).

I know, hence why I ended what I said with "(at least on the VE)" implying I'm basing my experience on the VE.

Lol yeah only once owned a vg didn't have it for to to long so never cared to under stand that engine.
