Located in NY.

From the looks of the engine bay, it looks like it has an automatic. EDIT: From a screenshot, it has OD OFF on the Fuel/Temp gauge, so it's an auto.

$2700 huh? Looks like you're tailor made for the mint VE auto listed above. Some guy here tried to buy it and the seller wouldn't go lower than $2700. I think we have a match ladies and gentlemen!

Wow! The color of the second one is fantastic (rare burgandy VE). They're all on the east coast.

Does't matter much anyway. This guy comes on here every couple months and does the same thing, we give him several PERFECT examples of exactly what he's looking for in his area, but he doesn't follow up or follow through. Then comes back a few months later and makes a new thread again about the same thing, we give him dozens of examples in his area, and again doesn't follow up or follow through. Dude's missed out on a good 10-15 perfect VEs (and probably 7-8 perfect VE 5's within a couple hours of him) over the past year.

too bad 3rd gens aren't AWD or else i'd get another one WRX is nice and all but i kinda enjoyed being able to drive a car without my kneecap smashing the bottom of the steering column... i sat in my 90 the other day taking the dash out to harvest the wiring for my Z and was all

became an unmanageable maintenance nightmare. no single catastropic, just a bunch of little things that added up until the rear parallel link bushing incident (recall this thread http://forums.maxima.org/3rd-generat...hemselves.html) became the straw that broke the camel's back.

the WSP ypipe got sold to somebody on here

the VLSD-5 tranny just got installed on nc90gxe's car this past weekend as well as the 5.5gen brakes (since i had already overdrilled my VE hubs).

Engine (yes, the Goon9 engine) is getting prepped to drop into the z with full maxima electronics/sensors/manifolds rather than the archaic z31 stuff, and will eventually be turbocharged now that i can weld.

rear z31 brake package (including struts) is up for grabs.. either to 2 people that have disc brakes (one early and one late model) or to one person that has drums.

the easier way to do it is to just swap the external components from the Z motor onto the maxima engine. i'm using maxima components on my Z as a matter of preference but if you just want the car to run then the Z ECU/wiring/fuelsystem will be much easier to use then trying to frankenstein it. prepare to spend weeks on wiring otherwise. keep in mind that the maxima intake manifold is different meaning your intake hose points straight at the firewall. also keep in mind that the coolant hoses are different meaning you won't have anywhere to put your CTS and CHTS. also keep in mind that exhaust manifolds on the z engine get in the way of the oil filter attachment on the maxima engine so you will have to figure that out too. the list goes on and on...
