A little help replacing a clutch

Hi all,

I'm in the process of replacing my clutch and flywheel.I have ordered a Unorthodox flywheel and Centerforce DF clutch.I have gotten all of the motor to trans bolts loose. Here is what I need to know. Can the passenger side axle stay in place, if not how do I loosen the carrier bearing from the car? Do I need to remove the battery tray? Also do I "really need to" remove the exhaust, because as of now I have no broken studs or leaks?

Thanks
Jason

You should remove the pass side cv. It's 2x as hard to get the tranny back in becuase now you have to line up two shafts instead of just one. Exhaust manifolds probably do not have to come out, it's up to you if you want to upgrade the studs now. Battery tray is up to you. Might give you some more working room. It's no biggie either way. Just remove it. It's only like 4-5 bolts
