door sills...

door sills...

can the 20th anniv chrome door sills fit on 3rd gens?, either on top of the existing ones or in place of? And also a few weeks ago when i was takin apart my kick panels i took off my door sills and its a b1tch to get it to stay on now the screws dont tighten

I don't know if the 20th Ann sills fit, but do a search in the FS section for Cefiro sills, and you should come up with a few posts. They fit the 3rd gen.

The problem with the screws not fitting on the sills is quite simple...most likely, the screws are plastic. Right? the thing w/ 3rd gen ( and probably other gens) sills is that the screws dont exactly "thread" when screwed in. Just place the little anchors in the sill and push the screws in manually...Hope I could've been of svc.

yea they are plastic screws and ive tried pushing them in and it just pops out again...i dunno ill try it again and see what happens

sometimes you just have to replace those plastic things.
