help turn signal and hazard not blinking

the car battery died from my kids leaving the interior dome light on. I connected the battery to a quick charger and started her up.

After she started the turn signals and hazards will no longer blink. The lights are ok and will come on but just won't blink and the arrow turn indicator inside won't blink. All other other lights are working correctly.

I checked the turn signal fuse and it's ok. I went to autozone and got a $10 turn signal flasher unit. It didn't look like the oem one but had the three prong and fits into the harness but still no blinking.

Anything else to check? Could my hazard switch have gone bad? Do I need an oem flasher unit?

Definately the hazard switch, the same problem happened to mine when I had my hazard switch out while I was installing a new head unit and A/C controller

Got a a new hazard switch and the signals lights are still not blinking.

Checked all the fuses again under the left side stearing column and everything is working.

The next step would be to get an OEM turn signal flasher instead of counting on the Autozone replacement one to work.

I also notice there is a fuse box located in the engine bay on the passenger side next to the fender. The box has 3 or 4 fuses in it and one of them is called corner light. Anyone know what that fuse is for?

Any other suggestions?

Got the new Nissan OEM Turn Signal Flasher. BAM!! Everything is back to normal.

So the autozone turn signal flasher ~$10 fits correctly but DOE NOT WORK correctly.
