thats news, but thats pretty pricey, $575. factoring in the full mandrel exhaust was under $200 and you just need a muffler/resonator which is no more than $100-$200

How did you get $575? I did a quote with 22" resonator, and muffler with dual tips for $430.

$430 ain't bad for a "real" full catback with actual muffler with it. I think my GReddy was $600+ back in the day.

The big kicker here is whether or not the muffler points retardly downward like all these other setups with universal mufflers. I've e-mailed them hoping to see some pics.

Still can't bit those Mandrelexhaustsystem.com tubing kit prices!

http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...EXHAUST/Detail

If only a few jumped all over the MES tubing kits for $120....I'm sure only even less will do this since the price is up there!

Well, obviously, I didn't think it was cheaper. I'm not blind

But this is still pretty inexpensive for a full true catback. I mean a nice resonator can cost you $100, throw in a nice muffler which can also cost $100+ (likely more) and you're easily in the $350 range for a pieced together universal-ish system. This system is $430.. not a whole bunch more for, again, a "real" bolt-on ready to go catback.

And they look darn nice and sound incredible too (actually sounds alot like my Greddy). You can't always say pieced together kits sound nice (contrary to some people here, most of the pieced together WSP systems I heard over the years sounded gross

my OBX resonator was $50 on Ebay and warrantied for free replacement if something happened on the track or street, and my can was $85ish on Ebay open box

just dont buy new unless its a good deal for exhaust stuff, get open box or used.

For a 22" resonator? Last time I looked a few months ago I couldn't find a nice one for under $90?

theyre $29 on Ebay plus shipping for OBX, OBX apparently doesnt make good other stuff but its pretty hard to screw up a resonator.

You guys should be happy someone steped up and made a cat-back available for 3rd Generation Maxima's by the time you piece one togethier and have an exhaust shop weld it all . you'll end up paying the same or more

Really???? Talk about something you really know! I spent about $300 with my Magnaflow muffler, resonator, and welding combined....MES and BRM are there now! $120 was alot to some of these "El Cheapos" already! I can ensure you that the BRM is way too high for these folks and there 20 yr old cars.....It didn't matter to me it was a necessary ingredient for my performance recipe!
