1)when sitting still and off or sometimes on when i pull the steering wheel left and right it sounds like a popping noise and something not moving properly.
2)then last night i noticed it felt like my calipers were locked up.
3)when i hit my brakes on the snow it goes pop pop pop then kicks the pedal back at me and the lights kinda dim for a sec.
4)and also my heat is going out it feels warm but not really hot even after being warmed up for 10-20 min!

wtf, i have done tons of maintainance and nothing was showing signs of wear a month or two ago. damn this cold weather.


HELP

 

1) 1st popping noise could be a cv joint on the way out.
2) If you have ABS it would accurately describe the 2nd popping noise if you were braking on the snow.

 

was wondering if se's come with abs? if so should i have a fusable link for it? because i don't! it has never been in there.

 

If you have ABS, pop open the hood and there should be in plain view a metal box with lots of brake lines coming out of it everywhere on the front left side of the engine bay.

Also, there should be a "ABS" dash light that comes on when u start up.

 

cold weather doesn't like my maxine either! try putting the heater on 3 and not 4, for some reason, my car gets much hotter on 3 than it does on 4...and give it time to heat up

**UPDATE**
Ok the abs light comes on for a split second on my dash and i never see it ever again. its like when i turn my key to electrical. but i repeat i have no fusable link for this device in the engine bay. could this cause a problem or be the source of my brake problems?
