Throttle position sensor help

A few weeks ago I mistakenly cut the bolt/screw that secures the tps. Today I finally cut the other one . These things are super soft and cuts really easily. I know I'll have to drill it out..which I'll do soon. If I'm driving and my tps comes loose or out what will happen?

Does anyone have these screws that they can sell me?

Any tricks of getting the broken ones out?

Thank you

"cut" ................... as in cut or "cut" as in strip?

ECU needs the TPS for proper fuel/ignition management and if you have an auto the TCU uses the TPS signal to govern shift points properly ............... if the TPS is improperly adjusted or located or missing you are screwed.

Never had to do this myself, but removing those particular screws will involve a lot of care since they are small and located in aluminium - drill and use left-hand threaded screw-extractors

i heard of a trick, use a small bit of superglue on a small nail with a flat head thats clean or maybe a clean philips head screw so the glue has something to bite into
and try to unscrew, after the first 1\8 of a turn it should come out by hand

the first time i read this idea they suggest jb weld
but then weld may make it worse so,i suggest superglue which can be dissolved etc
any overflow of glue or weld will make it worse, this may not work on such a small
fastener

i have used an extractor drill attachment a few times with good results
on a few different sized fasteners
but again, the tps screw is a so small...

I'm screws laterally. I'll have to use a really small bit and slowly drill it out. worst case ill have to find someone parting out and buy theres. I'll try to drive with it sitting there lol
