Upper spring perch rubber?

I can't seem to find a part number for it anywhere.

The springs have rubber "perch" deals on the top side and bottom side. Not sure why all the diagrams I'm finding only show the bottoms (in this picture 54035 is what I'm talking about). I know the top sides of the spring have a rubber deal too.

On my Intrax back in the day I actually wrapped the spring uppers in clear viny tubing but I'd rather just buy the OEM/proper stuff now since I'm doing the black VE "right" with all OEM goodies.

perhaps because our cars are old...
If I recall correctly, the upper metal perch has the rubber insert on it.
That would explain why it's not shown on the diagram (I could easily be mistaken...)

Hmm, really? I'm nearly positive the rubber is wrapped onto the spring and not attached to or a part of the upper metal perch. IIRC that metal perch is just metal with some holes punched into it for the little nipples on the dust boots.

Though it's been 5-6 years since I had a stock front strut/spring assembly apart. But looking at the strut on the car in the driveway it certainly *looks* separate. Guess I'll have to take one apart this weekend to verify but was hoping one of you guys could confirm/deny during the week so I can get ish ordered

It looks like those metal spring perches are only about $20 so that's good news in case I have to go that route.
