Well I'm out of the hospital, went to look at the car, signed her over and walked away. We did our time, so this is goodbye as an 3rd gen owner.

I'm not happy with the performance of the seatbelt either.

Feeling quite recovered from the surgeon's knife. Have a few VE parts to unload, so I might post up in the classified. What's next is my Z, I have a room full and then some, of parts for it. AT2MT, NA2T all that plus more. I have a crispy 5.5 that's hardly been driven, so that's my 4dr FWD. Just gonna keep building the cars I like. Loved the 3rd Gen and she was as reliable as the recession and fast like the wind, but like my fellow Jamaicans like to say " forward ever, backward never".

Can't let the mind dwell on that...I'd be more than a little upset. Off to the machine shop today, the work continues.

Hey Rotaryhead, do you still have the triple gauge pillar? If so, how much shipped to 44120?

Be careful...what if they hit you and you become the casualty, or what if for some unexplainable reason you lose control. Driving is a dangerous thing man anything can happen.

I haven't been on that much and I missed this thread somehow.

That really sucks for both of you and I am happy you are both here to tell the tale.

I am especially sad about Augustus' car, since I know I shipped a lot of stuff to Connecticut for that project. I hope everything turns out for your future projects.

I'm a little late to the party but this is the greatest thing I've seen on here in a long time :eek5:

relieved to hear you are ok, I never would have thought it from the pics. 5 days in the hospital while driving a cage is pretty substantial

I hope they were carrying insurance and everything has worked out well for you.

The funny thing is accidents usually happen with me when I'm careful (with my guard down). Now when I have an adrenaline rush a.k.a drive like I done lost my damn mind (while watching for the cops) I'm usually fine & everyone else are my victims. lol This is usually once every other week when I can afford a lot of petro.

Know it's still sudden... But any plans for next ride?
