I was overlooking the three that connect the bumber the three behind the turning signal and the two underneath the car and no the don't sway and yeah but the lambo conversion doesn't take as much FAB like all the others do

I was young at the time, around 20ish. Before I turned 21 my first three cars were that Conti, a 67 Galaxie LTD and I traded that for my dad's 69 Mercury Cougar. Gas prices started going up and I was in college at the time so I ended up selling the Cougar back to my dad and I got something more fuel efficient.

The DeLorean had gullwing doors. The Mercedes 300SL back in the 50's also had them. The high door sills made them a bish to get into and out of.

Yep, that it does, considering his ride ain't a maxima any longer, it's a "maxim-ambo"

I came in here to say.....

That OP did not come in here to ask "what do you think of putting lambo doors on my car?" Instead, he asked how to remove his fenders.

I came here many years ago because I heard this community was helpful, and at the time, it was. I stopped coming around because all of you senior hacks developed these illusions of grandeur, thinking that you had become God's gift to the internet.....always arguing semantics and sticking your opinions where no one asked for them.

You've been here a while, and need to act like it. Yes, I'm also including you, Greeny. Like the other person said in response to your 'funny' choice of emoticon, just check your own signature quote.

^^^^ This. Taking a fender off is pretty simple stuff. I know I'm a freaking automotive genius and all, but I didn't need help getting the fenders off my Max. If I couldn't figure out how to get a fender off, I wouldn't trust myself to be able to do structural work to the car.. But that's just me.

Exactly. This is the reason I rarely post if I have a problem. It's often easier to skip the bullshiet self righteous attitudes & figure it out myself. I also sold my Maxima over the weekend so I don't guess it's really an issue anymore. Maybe I'll see some of you guys around the Audi forums.

OP, can't wait to see pics!

Speaking outta experience. If your car isn't a show car it's pointless to do lambo doors. I use my car everyday, and go to shows and I say when I gotta be warning everyone who opens the door "STOP IT'S LAMBO DOORS!!!" and watch them struggle to open and close it, the rest either open it wrong and damage stuff.

Don't give me wrong, I like the doors when I pull up in a crown and get the attention but hate when I gotta open the doors everytime I have a passenger in the front seat. It's an inconvenience and after just a year i'm ready to pull it the hell off. Lighten the car for the race track...

One a related note. To install the fender, what should be install first? The splash guard or the fender? I removed from a junk Max but the Bumper was torn on that side and I did care for the splash guard.
