My first accident on my first car.

Today in the Freeway, I just got on the second lane. When things came to a stop. I tried to stop, but I locked up the brakes the last 6 feet. I'm not sure if I could have used the lane on my right but at the last second it was available.

Other than an new/used Driver Front Light and Side Marker assembly. Front bumper and quarter panel. Is there anything else I should inspect. (Radiator's fine.)

On the other threads. I knew there are worse impacts.

It seems lately like the automotive apocalypse is coming and targeting 3rd gens first. At least yours doesnt look so bad. Check the radiator support member and headlight mounting surfaces/hole positions. If you can mount a new headlight in there and it can aim properly, then you should be good (and hood, fender, bumper too of course)

Well you can bet that the body alignment shifted slightly. If you can get a replacement hood to sit properly, you'll be fine.

Sorry to see. Hopefully it won't be too much to fix if you find used parts.

This^

I had the same exact damage and the front end has never been the same. Only off a couple mm, but still an eyesore (to me) from certain angles.

That's a bummer. Seems like a lot of 3rd gens are getting damaged lately.

I am almost afraid to drive mine. Well, actually I haven't driven it because I need to make a trip to the DMV and cough up $86.
