Bolt hole?

Hello again fellas. I got to finally cranking this bad boy over and noticed a slight oil leak. I took off the alternator and oil filter bracket and came to a problem in which I'm now asking the question.....about 3 inches from the oil filter bracket to the right of the bracket there is a huge maybe 13/14 mm threaded hole. I was trying to figure out what tied into it. I know it's not electrical as all of my wires are plugged in minus the oil wire that plugs into the oil filter braket. This is where I'm guessing. Maybe some kind of mechanical oil sensor of some sort. Not really sure. I'm sorry if this isn't very informative but all I know is it's a considerably sized bolt/sensor that threads into it. Any ideas? I'll try and post a pic on here shortly as I'm sure that might help someone. I know with the alternator and oil filter bracket, it's practically invisible. I was even maybe guessing that it's some kind of oil return line for a turbo set up. Thought maybe some of these are turbos in Japan or something. Thanks for everyone's time viewing this.

I just checked on my spare engine in the garage and mine just has a bolt there threaded into it.

And you're right - it isn't noticeable at all (in fact I've never noticed it before specifically looking for it now).

looks like it's the bolt hole to feed the turbo.

Do you have a strut tower brace? Often they hold the hood up just enough to cause the hood switch to freak out if you get a stiff breeze across the car and the hood moves a touch in the wind. been there, done that.

If it doesn't disarm properly when you open the doors, that's usually due to the contacts inside the door lock getting dirty. The factory alarm has disarm contacts at each front door lock to disarm when you turn the key in the door.
(FYI, that's the only way to shut off the stock alarm. put key in door and turn. voila.)

Can't help much on the hole in the block, but it looks like related obviously. stick a bolt in it with appropriate crush washer and call it a day.

Looks like it has been making a mess but better that than a seal. Get the right bolt /washer for it from Nissan then clean her up to make sure nothing else is leaking.
