Hi guys...was doing some cleaning in engine bay...I noticed a rubber hose just hooked on a hose... it comes from what i think is the tranny..its under the air cleaner box and air intake and its a flat cover with a hose about 8 inches and at the other end is a back to back 90 about 2 inches...i cant seem to find where it attaches to...the tranny was redone a few years back, im thinking they just forgot to hook it up....its an 89 by the way...any help is much appreciated...happy veterans day...

That hose is not a vacuum hose, it's the transmission breather hose..It's supposed to be like that..
