Does anyone here have actual photos of Joshua Tree's kit on their 3rd gen? None of the pix on their site is of a 3rd gen. It doesn't go around the shifter and it doesn't go all the way around the gages because of how narrow that edge is. I'd be interrested too, but I'm afraid this will look a little chopped-off.
I also have the tan and brown interior. Wood will probably look better, but I don't think I'd like it.

I got mine (carbon fiber) from Joshua Tree www.woodtrim.com like Obsidian mentioned. I am happy with the quality and fit.
I've also seen many others on ebay for cheaper but it's hard to tell the quality from those pics so I would be careful what you buy there.

if you want to see some pics, check out my cardomain page (link in sig) the cf gauge bezel was a separate piece though

I believe that nopi sells kits for our cars not too. But I also got mine from Joshua Tree and I am very pleased with it.

Thanks! That looks really nice. I have carbon fibre pedals already. Just wondering if the c/f will clash with the brown dash.
Did you have a problem with the center piece fitting around your aftermarket stereo head unit? I have an Alpine with a removable face that has one of those stick-on bezels.

no problems at all. I also have another piece at home that is supposed to go on the little push out cupholder thingy but my car came with double din bose so I never had that thing and when I repalaced the HU, I found a fold out storage compartment from a earlier max (89-91 I think)

if you want more pics email me, I have lots of different shots
I would post them but my geocities is always "exceeding it's allocated bandwidth" and cardomain always sucks

everything looks like crap on the tan interiors.

I had a Joshua Tree aluminum dash kit on it, and it looked REALLY out of place.

I made the gauge bezel myself, so it's not in the kit. there's also a few other pieces that were in the kit that I didn't install.

it looks MUCH better in the black or grey interiors though. don't have the pics of it (more like I'm too lazy to look them up), but they do look better in grey/black interior.

I have the same color interior!!! I have no idea what to put on there... i'm leaving it stock black and that brown until i can figure out what to do.... I was going to install the aluminum... but i think i'll pass now that I've seen yours (no offense... its not bad, but not as good as it looked in my head...)

I would love a wood one... but the wood would look the same as the rest of the dash... and you lose that two color look... *sigh* i hate that color! If anyone of you interior expert got an idea for us speak up!

best advice I can give you is to spend a few hundred bucks and switch to black interior. leave the carpet and cloth tan, but switch all the vinyl and plastic (and seats) to black. some of the older SE models came with that type ot two-tone look, and I really liked it. it would work well with a dash kit too.

only reason I put the aluminum kit in that tan interior is because I got it for the right price (my GF gave it to me as a birthday gift), and I had a silver head unit that looked really weird on the black dash. I was losing points at shows because it didn't match, so I had to do something to help it blend in.

DO NOT buy the aluminum dash kit for any color car off ebay. My cousin bought the aluminum dash kit and we found out it really isn't aluminum. even worse it doesn't even look like aluminum in real life. It looks like a thick soft plastic/silicon with some silver under it. The silver looks kinda what silver nail polish looks like. The dash kit we bought was for a honda accord, but it is the same company as the one that makes it for our car. this is all my opinion, b/c some people actually likes the fake aluminum that mycuz has, but personally if i were to say i ad a brushed aluminum dash, i would actually want it to look like one....
